Today, Gruaud Larose is a name recognized all over the world. Sometimes, in some countries, interaction and intimacy with Gruaud Larose is so strong that wine lovers dedicate a specific name. It happened in China, where Gruaud is now known under a chinese name, the translation of a strong passion for the wine. Choices made over the last fifteen years, and more specifically the importance of the organic materials in an "elite culture", will be key in the future. The debate on how soils should be laboured in order to better reveal the terroir is currently animating the team who leads the future of the estate and brings new ideas. However the wines of Gruaud Larose will always remain what they were in the past : long-ageing wines likely to develop a complex bouquet, typical from the soil of the Cru.
